Older light-up shoes may contain mercury and should be disposed of as hazardous waste. Newer light-up shoes may be disposed of as e-waste if the e-button battery is removed before disposal.
Special Directions
Unlike Household Hazardous Waste, light up shoes can be dropped off at Eastern Regional Landfill year-round without an appointment.
