Recycling Services

Commercial recycling service is available through the Town’s franchised hauler, Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (TTSD). Businesses are eligible for free mixed recyclables carts (up to the equivalent of their trash service level) that are serviced up to twice per week. Blue bags are no longer accepted for commercial recycling.

Cardboard bin service is also available for businesses that generate large amounts of cardboard. View the current solid waste collection rates.

Service days are changing starting March 30th.

If you have a trash cart: Your recycling and trash service days are changing to Tuesdays. Customers also have the option of adding a second day of recycling on Fridays.

If you have a trash dumpster: Your recycling service day is changing to Fridays. Customers also have the option of adding a second day of recycling on Tuesdays.

Recycling service is FREE up to the same service level as a customer’s trash service.
