The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is operated by Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal and accepts trash, recyclables, green waste, and a variety of other items for processing and disposal. View Current Rates.

Eastern Regional Landfill MRF is open Monday through Saturday, and closed Sundays. For current operating hours, visit the facility’s website.

CRV/Buy-Back

Eastern Regional Landfill MRF operates a California certified redemption center for CRV materials, including aluminum cans and plastic bottles. Visit their website for guidelines on how to redeem eligible items. Please note that the buyback center has different operating hours than the MRF.
