Compost Drop-off

Feed gardens, not landfills! Truckee residents can drop-off food scraps to be composted at regional compost facilities. Food scraps can be dropped off at Truckee Town Hall or the Community Garden. These locations accept different materials, so please be sure to check what’s accepted before dropping your items off.

Please note that food scraps should NOT go in yard waste carts.
