Green Waste Drop-off Events – Truckee residents can drop off green waste for free. No bags please!

2026 Green Waste Drop-off Events

8 am – 1 pm

  • Friday, May 29: 14942 Slalom Way (Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area)
  • Saturday, June 27: Truckee Rodeo Grounds
  • Friday, July 10: Truckee Rodeo Grounds
  • Friday, September 4: 14942 Slalom Way (Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area)

Self-service: drop-off your residential yard waste. Please limit loads to three yards per trip. Please, no bags, rocks, dirt, commercial yard waste, rounds larger than 24 inches, stumps, boards, or trash.
