20th Annual Truckee Day!
20 years of coming together as a community and making our streets shine bright! Join us for the 20th annual Truckee Day on Saturday, June 3! Let’s show our Truckee pride by cleaning up what has been left behind after a record-breaking winter.
This year’s post-clean up BBQ will include some extra fun activities to commemorate 20 years of Truckee Day! Join us at Truckee Regional Park following the cleanup to reward your hard-earned work! Along with a free BBQ lunch, each volunteer will receive a commemorative Truckee Day cup and be entered into a free raffle to win prizes from local Truckee shops. Wear your favorite Truckee Day t-shirt from past years!
Plus: Make your own Truckee Day t-shirt!
This year, Truckee Roundhouse will host a screen printing t-shirt station at the Regional Park. Bring a blank t-shirt to screen print and make your own Truckee Day 2023 t-shirt! Thank you for helping us focus on reuse and be sustainable stewards!
Saturday, June 3 Schedule:
- 8-10 AM: Meet at your neighborhood check-in station to receive cleanup supplies. Please bring your own gloves if possible (gardening gloves work great!). Ride your bike to your check-in station to receive bike swag courtesy of Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition!
- 9 AM-12 PM: Make our streets shine bright by cleaning up litter in your neighborhood!
- 12-2 PM: Town-wide block party at Truckee Regional Park! Lunch, live music, and good times available for all! The Optimist Club will be on the grill flipping burgers and local band “Down the Rabbit Hole” will bring the good jams. We can’t wait to see our friends and neighbors to celebrate 20 years of Truckee pride! Ride your bike to the park: a FREE bike valet will be available for convenient bike parking!
