Truckee Railyard Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Charging your electric vehicle in Truckee just became a whole lot more convenient. As part of the emerging Truckee Railyard development, which currently includes the Truckee Artist Lofts and a future theater site, visitors and residents now have access to electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The six Chargepoint units offer both level II and DC fast chargers, and are located within the Railyard portion of the downtown parking district.

This project was completed in summer 2020.

Sustainability Benefits

As development of the Downtown Truckee’s Railyard District continues, providing convenient EV charging within the Railyard will encourage and facilitate electric vehicle usage, reducing emissions from gasoline-powered vehicle trips.
