Pesticides!
Illegal in Garbage & Drains
Do not pour pesticides down the drain or water your plants after pesticide has been applied. These chemicals are hazardous and will contaminate waterways, lakes, and rivers.
To dispose of containers with concentrate, rinse them three time by adding the extra concentrate to the tank, adding water to the container, swirling, and emptying the mixture into the spray tank.
If the chemicals come in a ready-to-use container, they can be thrown in the trash without rinsing.
Special Directions
Hazardous waste can be disposed of free of charge at Eastern Regional Landfill by scheduling an appointment during a normally scheduled Household Hazardous Waste drop-off event.
