Takeout Containers (Cardboard)

If the container has a shiny or wax interior or is food soiled it should be thrown away. If you can’t feel anything slippery on the inside and there are no food stains, it can be recycled. Even if the box says “biodegradable” or “compostable” please don’t place in Truckee’s compost which only accepts food.
