Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
This information tracks the number of commercial (non-residential) electric vehicle charging stations installed for public use, and includes stations provided by public agencies and private businesses.
In 2020 the Town of Truckee, in partnership with Truckee Development Associates, installed 6 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the new downtown Railyard project. The Town is also working to install three public EV chargers at Town Hall, which will be free for the public to use.

More availability of EV charging stations at public and private businesses encourages the use of electric vehicles, decreasing the consumption of fossil fuels and the corresponding emission of greenhouse gases.
